There are more than 6 billion human beings on Earth. According to the population estimates released by the United Nations, the 6 billion mark was reached on October 12 1999. Every second five people are born and two people die, a net gain of three people. Guess how many people were on Earth when you were born!!

Alliance to Save Energy Lesson Plans

We have obtained rights for the lesson plans here for your classroom use. A number of them are used in the Alliance to Save Energy Green Schools project-a unique collaborative effort by teachers, administrators, and facilities and maintenance staff which reduces school energy costs at the same time it educates students.
